How it started

It has been some years since I had the opportunity to work with Robert Beltran for 5 days.
What an experience, but that isn't how it exactly started.
While Robert filmed Zoot Suit, I was not even 10 years old when I started to watch STAR TREK the Classic Series with Captain Kirk and Spock. I grew up with the classics, and it was my favorite. It got me hooked, or as we later learned, I was assimilated, and resistance was futile. For a long time, Captain Kirk and his crew were the real Star Trek.
Yes, I have to admit I didn't adapt easily to TNG, but gladly I did, and so I did with DS9 and with VOYAGER. The difference with Voyager was they had me from the first second on, and immediately I found the character I loved the most: CHAKOTAY.
The following entries about Voyager's first officer explain why.
With starting to love this character, I started to be more interested in what the actor behind the character has done so far and will do. I started research, read, and saved what I could find, and I am glad I did, because some things disappeared, like his own website. Gone.
Years pass by, and Star Trek was more or less always a part of my life, and I guess it always will be. The most wonderful thing that happened was working with the actor portraying my favorite Star Trek character. I had 5 intense days.
Robert, I thank you for that time, and I am grateful for every single moment; to know you better honors me. Since then, you are dear to me, and that won't change.
The following entries will be about Robert Beltran's work, how he entertains us in theater, movies, TV series, interviews, etc. The entries will be in non-chronological order. Always with my personal point of view, I also hope it will be a home for all who are interested in how Robert entertains us.
I hope you'll enjoy that place as I do by creating it. Let's have a good RobertBeltranTime.
